Saxophonist Azar Lawrence is known for his contributions as sideman to McCoy Tyner, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, and Woody Shaw. He’s also performed with Herbie Hancock, Elvin Jones, Kenny Burrell, Muddy Waters, Ike and Tina Turner, and written for Earth, Wind and Fire, and many more.
