The Experience Talks radio show has occasionally featured a short segment
called “In My Experience” in which guests share a significant personal experience or observation. We decided to compile the commentaries of five “In My Experience” contributors to create this show.

First, you’ll hear from former White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers, who talks about making both personal and career transitions after leaving that post. Then, award-winning filmmaker Errol Morris talks about embarking on a new career as a journalist at the age of 60. Julia Cameron, author of “The Artists Way,” talks about her experience with encouraging creativity. Mary Cohen, an EngAGE Community resident, talks about the rewards of simple acts of kindness. The final commentary is from Experience Talks Online host and producer Cynthia Friedlob, who had the privilege of launching the “In My Experience” segment in 2007 with an essay about her experience of the ‘60s. Join us for this unique look back at “In My Experience.”
