News from Burbank Senior Artists Colony: Indian Luncheon + Creative Arts Gathering

We had a huge crowd at our Indian Luncheon this month at Burbank Senior Artists Colony in Burbank, CA. Residents were sent a personal invitation by the Aggerwhil family to enjoy some Indian-style home cooking, followed by a decadent dessert. We had such a fun time trying new foods, listening to Indian music, and catching up with friends and neighbors.

The residents attending the Creative Arts Gathering had such a great time making art together. Some worked together on the same projects, while others worked solo. This gave our artistic residents a chance to show off some of their skills and teach others. We had scrapbookers, adult coloring books, card makers, sketching, watercolors, knitting, photographers, and clay crafts all going on in the same room. Eventually the program got so popular we ran out of seats! The creative energy was flowing!
