News from Burbank Senior Artists Colony: The Boyfriend Live in London

The collaboration between Entelechy Theatre, London, England, and The Burbank (CA) Players blossomed into a live international performance!

Gathering together at 7:30 am because of the time difference, five Burbank Senior Artist Colony residents recently acted to an audience of 200 people in a London Theatre via Skype with assistance from EngAGE team members, Ken Mandel and Maureen Kellen-Taylor.

The production is the latest development of “The Boyfriend,” an improv inspired by visiting director David Slater that started in Burbank  and continued in London with Act Two of our story. Act Three will be planned collaboratively this month.

Will The Boyfriend get his comeuppance?

Will the girlfriends in London and Burbank, aided by their devoted friends, wreak their revenge?

Will the two groups brought together by this drama remain Skype friends after the finale?

Stay tuned to this space!

The Burbank Actors are:

Felecia Saisson-Segal as The Local Girlfriend

Dolly Brittan as The Daughter

Susie Mavro & Suzanne Knode as The Girlfriend’s Girlfriends
