  1. Kevin Howell says:

Hi, I’m a writer for a community newspaper – Freshwater Reporter – in the Baldwin/Idlewild area of west central Michigan. I’m interested in doing a possible story about one of our veterans in this area – Alvin Jamison, now deceased.

I understand he was an associate member of the Tuskegee Airmen, but did not serve as one.

I’m trying to learn more about him, and one thing I’d like to know is what is an Associate airman. I’d also like to know more about his service in the Air Force. I’m hoping to make contact with Ron Brewington who I’m hoping can help me out with more info.

    Thanks,
    Kevin Howell
