EngAGE is honored to have helped create the Community For All Ages model in affordable housing through our long collaboration with Community Development Partners (CDP). Please see our previous post for more information about the opening of Mahonia Crossing, a new 313-unit CFAA community located in Salem, OR. The 11-acre campus is designed to encourage community gatherings and activities.
Community features include:
- Central community building with a community kitchen, food pantry, and multi-purpose rooms.
- Additional community space includes a fitness center, multipurpose game/media room with computer stations, and a book-share library.
- Flexible outdoor space, including shared plazas, an open field, playgrounds, picnic areas, and community gardens.
- Standalone senior building with an elevator, solely for residents 55 and older
- On-site laundry facilities
- Dedicated on-site resident services and programming team.

EngAGE Northwest provides our signature programming in the arts, wellness, lifelong learning, and community-building for residents of all ages. For this celebratory grand opening event, pumpkin decorating and face painting were the two special treats offered to our youngest residents. They were quite excited to participate! Take a look:
