Tribes of Eden: Book Launch Wednesday 4/4 at 3:00 PM ET

Geriatrician and elder advocate Dr. Bill Thomas released his new novel, Tribes of Eden, as an e-book awhile ago, but the paperback was just published today (Tuesday). He’s celebrating with an online streaming video book launch party on Wednesday, April 4th at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. Everyone is invited to attend. Just click here to join the fun!

If you’re reading this later in the day and miss the party, you can still go to the link to see a trailer and buy the book. Here’s a bit about the story: “On the run after America’s sudden and utter collapse, a family finds sanctuary in the heart of a community thriving ‘off the grid.’ But when the lure of a virtual new world order divides the family, the elders of the community recognize that humanity’s fate rests with a chosen girl and a surprising alliance between the least powerful — the young and old.”

Dr. Thomas is the founder of the  international non-profit organization The Eden Alternative, a philosophy and program that de-institutionalized nursing homes in all 50 states and worldwide over the past 20 years. He also created The Green House Project, to further revolutionize nursing home care. He co-founded with Kavan Peterson the ChangingAging Blogstream which aggregates dozens of blogs devoted to changing how we age and the perception of how we age. The EngAGE Blog is pleased to be a part of that blogstream.
