This year’s Symposium “Where you live, how you live” is all about fostering a new direction in late-life living. It’s about creating vibrant spaces of learning, motivation, and activity that take a whole-person approach to creative and healthy aging. Keynote speaker Tim Carpenter will share information about his award-winning organization, EngAGE, and his revolutionary Senior Arts Colonies. Symposium attendees will hear about plans to bring this model to North Carolina! Join us to learn about the current landscape and future plans for aging in NC. Following the keynote session, attendees will participate in experiential workshops designed to provoke innovative thought and encourage the implementation of creative programs with older people and their care partners. The event will wrap with a tour of the Cultural Arts Center, networking and drinks.
May 13, 2014 at the Cultural Arts Center, 200 N. Davie St., Greensboro, NC.
$79 Early Bird Registration ends Friday, April 11th. (Registration is required.) Download the Symposium Brochure here
