We’re catching up on our summer photos from our EngAGE Communities! In addition to our usual activities, this month included a workshop from the DMV that explained how to get a free senior ID card — especially useful if you no longer have a driver’s license — and a class on elder law and advocacy. After a request for more day trips, the Long Beach Senior Arts Colony residents enjoyed an opportunity to join the Long Beach Heritage Society’s monthly tour of Long Beach’s historic treasure, The Bembridge House, and a day trip to the Great Sand Sculpture Contest at Granada Beach in Long Beach. Take a look at the happy residents in these photos! (Come to the blog and click on any photo to enlarge it.)
