Artist James Turrell Explores Light and Space

 

CREATIVE-ARTSArtist James Turrell, 70, makes work that is primarily concerned with light and space. He’s best known for his work in progress, Roden Crater, a natural cinder cone crater located outside Flagstaff, Arizona, that he is turning into a massive naked-eye observatory. Recently, his Skyspace light installation at the Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting House in Philadelphia has opened. Read more here.
