Glenda Glayzer Says, “It Ain’t Over!”

glendaglayzer_bw500Glenda Glayzer, a former resident of Burbank Senior Artists Colony, launched her performing career at the age of thirteen when she and her family, The Bell Family Gospel Singers from Temple, Texas, made their first vinyl recording. It was a long way from those beginnings to performing American musicals in the German language at the Nuremberg Opera, to landing a role in “Beach Blanket Babylon Goes Bananas” in San Francisco, to running a freelance sound recording business in Los Angeles, to discovering the joys of making fine art (see some here). It should be no surprise that she’s now turning her attention to writing and is sharing some of her thoughts on her website, “It Ain’t Over: How to Live an Electrifying Second Half.” Here’s what she has to say about it: “My objective, here in this space, is to share and compare insights into the best ways to thrive in the second half of our lives here. Just living isn’t enough for me. I hope you feel the same.” Take a look! [A permanent link to Glenda’s site is now on our Blog Roll in the sidebar at right.]
