Two well-known companies in the fashion/cosmetics world have chosen mature women to represent their brands.
“Legendary actress Charlotte Rampling has been cast as the new face of NARS cosmetics at the age of 68. The British film star, who is famous for her roles in films including Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories, will appear in a ‘black-and-white portrait-style image,’ for the brand’s 20th anniversary, reports WWD. But because she’s 64, and she’s the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. ‘The fashion industry is continuing to hire older models,’ noted Hoda Kotb on the fourth hour of Today. She pointed out that Lauren Hutton, 70, models for Lucky Brand, and Diane Keaton, 68, for L’Oreal. ‘You know what they all have?
