A Broadway musical immortalized on film, West Side Story is a contemporary take on Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” The popular 1961 film starred Natalie Wood (“Maria”), Richard Beymer (“Tony”, Russ Tamblyn (“Riff”), Rita Moreno (“Anita”), and George Chakiris (“Bernardo”).
Last Remaining Seats will screen the film on June 14th at 8 PM at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, with special guest Academy Award-winning George Chakiris in conversation with dance critic Debra Levine. Get details here.
