E.L. Doctorow at National Book Festival on August 30th

WRITINGThe 83-year-old editor, professor and novelist, E.L. Doctorow, has won this year’s Library of Congress Prize for American Fiction. The author of such celebrated historical novels as Ragtime, The Book of Daniel, and The March will receive the award during the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 30.
