The cast members of the Reader’s Theater troupe from The Long Beach Senior Arts Colony share their love of the dramatic arts with anecdotes about their first off-site public performance. For many, to act on a stage in front of live audience, has been a life-long dream. For others, the experience has been life changing. Guest host Helene Weinberg, Arts Program Manager for EngAGE, talks with these emerging actors about finding their passion for this collaborative art form as “late bloomers” as they share their challenges and triumphs.
