Many fans know George Takei, 77, from his role as Mr. Sulu on the 1960s show Star Trek. But anyone who’s been online in the last few years knows him for his witty posts on Facebook where he has over five million fans. Those posts have also provided him with an opportunity to talk about his family’s internment after the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1942 , when he was five years old. And his online presence has give him a platform for his political activism as a gay man. Now, he’s also the subject of a new documentary entitled, To Be Takei. Read more and hear an interview here.
