The Dinner Party is a community of mostly 20- and 30-somethings who’ve each experienced significant loss (a parent, sibling, partner, friend), and get together over dinner parties to talk about it and the ways in which it continues to affect their lives. The group is competing for a $100,000 grant from the Goldhirsch Foundation as part of their LA 2050 grants challenge.
The LA2050 initiative was developed to create a shared vision for the future of Los Angeles, and to drive and track progress toward that vision, with a goal of making Los Angeles the best place to play, connect, live, create, and learn. The Dinner Party would like to expand its programs and has applied for a grant under the “connect” banner.
EngAGE and Experience Talks are committed event partners with The Dinner Party.
Popular vote decides the winner of the grant, so please get involved! No donation is required, just a few minutes to sign up and vote. Click here for all the details. Voting ends Tuesday, September 16th. Thank you!
