“As ‘Doctor Who’ nears its 50th anniversary, Tom Baker [79] reflects on his seven years as the fourth Doctor. ‘It was so much better than real life,’ he says. . . . With his long scarf and love of jelly babies, Baker’s fourth Doctor remains one of the most instantly recognizable incarnations of the Time Lord.
