PacArts Family Arts Colony in San Pedro opened a new show
for October’s First Thursday Arts Walk!
Marlee Donati is the featured painter and her large abstracts bring life and color to the gallery. Marlee also teaches painting to the children and adults who reside at the Arts Colony.

Friends of PacArts and the painter, as well as members of the public, joined us at the opening presented by EngAGE staff Jake Harrison.

Adding to the evening’s excitement was the Spoken Word performance by HustleDiva (Charlene Greene) who inspired us with her passionate delivery and wise words on the creativity that resides within us all.
HustleDiva is seen talking with Dominique Moody, whose seminal work for the Nomad (a travelling Small House) has been displayed at PacArts this year. Also on show is a sculpture by artist resident Hyung Mo Lee, recently returned from a residency in Spain.
Marlee’s work will remain on show for the month of October.
