Actor RICHARD BENJAMIN is well known for his roles in television and film including Goodbye, Columbus; Diary of a Mad Housewife; Catch-22; and Love at First Bite. He co-starred with his wife, Paula Prentiss, in the television series, He & She. His first film project as a director was My Favorite Year (1982), which brought an Oscar nomination to its star, Peter O’Toole.

In 1976, Benjamin won a Golden Globe award for his supporting role as a harried theatrical agent in The Sunshine Boys, based on the play by Neil Simon. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the film, Benjamin appeared at a special, one night only screening at the Laemmle Royal Theater in West L.A. where he was interviewed by Stephen Farber.

Thanks to Mike McClellan, Stephen Farber, and the Laemmle Royal Theater for allowing us to share this interview which is part of their excellent Anniversary Classics Series.
