Art students at Dorado Senior Apartments in Buena Park, CA, use acrylics, watercolors and color pencils, offering them the opportunity for creative expression as well as socializing. Instructor Essence Parker comments, “My star pupils, as I refer to them, enjoy the opportunity to paint with their neighbors and create memories that will last forever. Each session, we are introduced to unique methods of creative expression. Lenore, one of the residents, had been reluctant to try new things; now she doesn’t miss a single class!”
