Exciting news from Tim Carpenter, Founder and Executive Director of EngAGE:
I am pleased to announce that EngAGE has begun program delivery in Portland!
Our first community, Cascadian Terrace Apartments, is a 103-unit subsidized property providing affordable housing for very low income residents.
Please join us from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 9, for this kick-off of EngAGE programming in Portland at Cascadian Terrace Apartments, 5700 North Kerby. Come and meet the residents of the community and enjoy a BBQ together with live music at 4:30 provided by popular Portland singer/songwriter Tyler Stenson!
At Cascadian Terrace, EngAGE is inaugurating an association with Friendly House to deliver arts-based programs. This is also the first collaboration of EngAGE with another group expanding to Portland and Oregon, Community Development Partners, the owners of Cascadian Terrace and other Portland properties, including the vintage Rexall Building on NE Alberta Street. We expect to continue our association with Friendly House as the expansion of EngAGE continues in Portland, and with Community Development Partners in California and the Pacific Northwest in the coming months and years.
