Want to learn how to take public transportation in Los Angeles? On the Move Riders Club connects you to new friends who can teach you about going Metro. Learn from peers who know the ins and outs of getting around on public transportation, then take a test ride together. Club activities are tailored to each group, and can range from group sightseeing trips to one-on-one training for outings to the store, to the doctor or anywhere else you want to go. You can also attend the Older Adults Transportation Expo presented by Metro On The Move Riders Club on Tuesday, October 4th from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Union Station Ticketing Hall, 800 N. Alameda St. in Los Angeles. In addition to learning the ins and outs of the Metro system, you’ll learn about the public art on display at Metro stops as well as how Metro Security and Law Enforcement works.
