News from Metro Chinatown: Creativity and Cake

At the Metro at Chinatown Senior Lofts in Los Angeles, CA, crafty residents made a sunburst mirror out of cardboard and plastic spoons. First they cut the spoon tops and then hot glued them around the cardboard in a circular pattern. To finish the project, they spray-painted the spoons with a color of their choice, then placed the mirror in the center. They were so proud of their work!

At the monthly birthday celebration provided by the EngAGE/WSH Management collaboration, residents were able to enjoy delicious food, including cake. They also enjoyed raffle prizes provided by EngAGE.
