GEORGIA WYSS
with host DR. CONNIE CORLEY

GEORGIA WYSS is the director and co-producer of the film, Mantra: Sounds into Silence, which illuminates how mantra is both a meditative practice, and also as a growing musical “movement” through kirtan, a particular way in which people practice
together. Kirtan is usually in the form of call and response, where mantras are sung
back and forth. Learn more about the film at www.mantramovie.com.

Georgia Wyss co-founded the Barcelona based production company, TengoTwo, in 2003. Since then, in addition to her work as an editor, she has been producing documentaries and directing image films. She co-produced, co-wrote and edited the documentary, No Plorar Mai (Never to Cry), which the Spanish station TV3 aired in April 2013.  While she has edited several award-winning documentaries recently, Georgia’s background in film stretches back over 20 years, during which she has been editing commercials, documentaries and features in Hamburg, Zurich, New York, and Barcelona. Her credits include work for ABC, PBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon.
