At the EngAGE introductory event at 808 A Street Apartments in downtown Hayward, CA, 30 residents were in attendance to meet the EngAGE team: Nancy Goodhart, EngAGE COO; Program Director Meloney Morse; new Program Director Robbin Johnson; and EngAGE Meditation/Yoga teacher Charla Jean.
Also in attendance were Winda I. Shimizu, Executive Director of the Hayward Arts Council and Art Curator at the John O’Lague Galleria, Hayward City Hall; and artist and secretary of the HAC board of directors, Jeanne Bertolina , who will be the exhibiting artist for the Grand Opening of 808 A Street Apartments in late summer.
808 A Street residents are excited to begin their discovery of “their artist within” with the start up of EngAGE programming on May 1st. They are also looking forward to a Memorial Day BBQ scheduled for May 24th.
