EngAGE Receives 21st Century Fox Community Grant

EngAGE recently received generous support through a 21st Century Fox Community Grant to use towards our Creativity Across Generations project. This exciting project will provide programs taught by professional teaching artists and will focus in these areas: storytelling and writing, performance, improvisational theater games, living history, radio storytelling (in conjunction with our public radio show, Experience Talks), and story-related visual arts such as story/photo quilts. The programs will culminate in a series of events, such as a Living History Storytelling Festival. Creativity Across Generations is part of our well-respected EngAGE in Creativity program which provides community-based, multi-disciplinary arts programs taught by professional artists onsite and at no cost to residents at the affordable senior and multigenerational apartment communities EngAGE serves.

21st Century Fox Community Grants support projects that explore key focus areas, including Creativity & the Arts. “We partner with leading change-makers to provide opportunities where none existed, amplify courageous voices that reshape how we see the world, and develop content that expands our horizons and inspires transformation.” EngAGE is grateful to have been chosen as a partner in these efforts.
