Mary Cohen (third from left in front row), a former resident of The Piedmont Senior Apartments in North Hollywood, CA, has moved to another city, but she still has great affection for her friends at Piedmont, NoHo Senior Arts Colony, and Burbank Senior Artists Colony. The photo above is from the three communities’ shared 4th of July celebration. Mary was delighted when she discovered that this photograph and story had been published in The Tolucan Times and Canyon Crier, a neighborhood newspaper, so she sent it to a former neighbor. We were delighted when it was brought to our attention, especially because it led to the discovery of monthly Tolucan newspaper articles devoted to the many creative and exciting activities and events for residents of BSAC.
