News from ACE/121: Glendale Festival + Yart Sale

This past weekend was busy for ACE/121, our multigenerational arts colony in Glendale, CA! We had a booth in the Open Arts and Music Festival in Glendale and hosted our first-ever Yart Sale in the paseo in front of our building.

ACE/121 residents CandyJoe Dalhstrom and Julian Callos represented the ACE/121 community at the Glendale Open Arts and Music Festival in DTGlendale this past weekend, the 15th. It was a well-attended event that drew in a local crowd to discover Glendale artists and musicians. We were proud to be there to talk about ACE/121 with passers-by and made some sales, too!

On Sunday morning, residents set up for a late-morning Yart Sale (gently-used goods and resident artworks!) in front of ACE/121 and throughout the day, resident musicians serenaded the crowd with music ranging from traditional Armenian songs to pop, jazz, and original compositions. We have a talented community of artists here.
