The Orange County Food Program promotes wellness and enriches lives through the power of healthy foods and human connection. Together with our partners at Family Assistance Ministries, Food Finders, L.A. Kitchen, Orange County Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, the program has provided over 150,000 meals to 4,611 elders.
Through our partnerships with Dignity Health, HealthCare Partners, and SCAN Health Plan to provide nutrition and health education programs, multiple residents have reported being taken of their diabetes and blood pressure medications by their physicians. Residents have stated that because of this program they do more than survive; they feel rejuvenated.
