News from Metro Compton: Fitness, Gardening, Tech, and Birthdays

Residents at The Metro at Compton Senior Apartments in Compton, CA, stay active and engaged inside and outside! This month the Fitness Class worked on dumbbell exercises, punching/kicking techniques, ball movement, and stationary chair exercises.

The Garden Club meets once a month to discuss garden issues and needs. Residents go out to the garden to water it and clean it up. This month, residents received seeds of different crops and solutions to spray in garden for bugs, all provided by EngAGE.

Computer/Tech Help Class promotes a friendly atmosphere in which residents can bring their computers, tablets, and cell phones to receive help operating them. Useful tips and tricks on different aspects of technology are provided.

At the monthly birthday celebration, residents enjoyed delicious food, light refreshment, cake, and raffles, all provided by EngAGE.
