Congratulations to the Bakers who won a Bronze Medal in Performance at our EngAGE Community Cup Day in September! Carole and Jarome Baker from Andalucía Senior Apartments in Van Nuys, CA, have been singing together as long as they’ve been married. Jarome writes the music and the lyrics, and they perform them together, in harmony. They look forward to the Community Cup Day all year. Jarome works on the song all year and will sing it for you, or check in with you about your feelings about his progress all year long, so when the performance day finally arrives, they are beside themselves. They sing with a great deal of passion. They are devoted to each other and their songs are always love songs, filled with sentiment and feeling. They have been a mainstay of the Community Cup Performance for eight years and we are always glad to see them.
