News from Cantabria & Asturias: Jewelry Class

Michelle Yu’s jewelry class at Cantabria and Asturias Senior Apartments in Panorama City, CA, had a noble aspiration for the month of December. They made and delivered jewelry for the cancer patients at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, CA. Here, the ladies are showing off the necklaces and bracelets they created. Truly beautiful items. They could open a shop!

Research demonstrates that participating in arts activities improves the health and quality of life of older people.

Program Director: Elizabeth Sampson
Event Date: November 2018
Cantabria and Asturias Senior Apartments are Meta Housing Corporation communities.
