News from ACE/121: “Glendale Out” Reception Photos

GlendaleOUT is a multi-venue LGBTQIA based event in collaboration with local chapters of Gay Straight Alliance in the Glendale Unified School District.

The opening on June 1st was a wonderful intergenerational celebration. Exhibiting artists included local elementary, middle, and high school students.

Artists and organizers, including EngAGE Program Director Ben Evans,  were presented with Certificates of Recognition from the Office of Assemblyperson Laura Friedman, 43rd Assembly District: “Congratulations on hosting an incredible multi-venue LGBTQIA – based event in the City of Glendale.  Your hard work to insure that the queer community in our city feels accepted and celebrated is truly commendable. Thank you and the Roslin Art Gallery for your commitment, partnership, and assistance for the success of GlendaleOUT.”
