Charmaine Atherton is moving on to a new position at Bank of America, and so has resigned from our Board of Directors in Southern California. EngAGE would like to express our sincere gratitude for her many years of service on the Board.
As the Senior Vice President, Bank of America Merrill Lynch Community Development Banking, Charmaine led the company’s efforts dedicated to lending and investing in low and moderate-income underserved communities. She was instrumental in securing funding for our EngAGE in Wellness program which partners with several large food banks to provide onsite delivery of tons of free food each month to thousands of low-income residents living in the apartment communities we serve in Southern California. We are continuing that vital program now, even under our current challenging circumstances.
We send Charmaine our very best wishes for the future!
