News from BSAC: Writing Class Goes Online

Instructor Sarah Jacobus (top center in photo) reports: “I facilitated my first virtual creative writing class for Burbank Senior Artists Colony residents this afternoon on Zoom, which was a blast! I gave two Zoom tutorials earlier this week to women who’ve been regulars in the class so that when today came, we’d all be ready to hop on. I’m going to mix it up in April, offering a buffet, you might say, of fun in the imagination: some writing, TimeSlips storytelling, some poetry and probably a few other things I haven’t yet thought of. I’m hoping to draw a larger pool of participants, possibly folks from other classes who are missing theirs.”

Well done, everyone! As Sarah observed, “The hunger for contact is so strong right now, even for those who are not living alone.” EngAGE is committed to staying connected to our residents through virtual programming.
