The weekly exercise class facilitates both cardio-vascular health and muscle strength. Residents are working on core stability, balance, flexibility and leg and back alignment and strength. Work is done standing, in chairs, and with elastic bands. This is Terese Tintocalis’ second month as instructor and the class is responding to her really well. Terese plays music, incorporates dance moves, brings in hand-eye coordination, exercises with balls, does floor Pilates on mats — she changes things up!
