All Generations Enjoy Arts Programs in Washington, D.C.: DanceAfrica Festival and the Kreeger Museum

Dancing silhouettesAt Washington’s 25th annual Dance Africa festival, three American mentors of African dance were honored. “One group featured children who looked to be between the ages of 4 and 11; the other spotlighted the company’s senior dancers and drummers.” Read more in the Washington Post here.

 

ART“The Kreeger runs a special program for people with Alzheimer’s — seniors, their caregivers and middle school students are paired together to enjoy the art and one another’s company.” More here at NPR.
