Students from the Vietnamese American Oral History Project in the Department of Asian American Studies at UC Irvine met residents of the Grove last week to introduce their project which involves residents telling the students their stories. The residents were thrilled that the students wanted to interview them and that they could contribute their experience to the University project. The professor coordinating the project was very pleased at the success of the introductions. This exciting news follows on the heels of the Talk Story Democracy project at The Grove.
