NoHo Senior Arts Colony: Call for Artists

CALLING ALL ARTISTS—DISPLAY YOUR ART AT THE INAUGURAL NOHO SENIOR ARTS COLONY ART SHOW!

 “RE-IMAGINING LIFE”

 

  • The NoHo Senior Arts Colony, a brand new Los Angeles senior apartment community centered around the arts, will hold its inaugural art show from January 17 to March 14, 2013.
  • Artists from Los Angeles County aged 62 years and above are invited to submit their work for a chance to be a part of this exciting, new, state-of-the-art live/work building!

–        This gallery will receive a great deal of attention which will help to promote each participating artist.

–        The show will also include three cash prizes that will be awarded by the selection committee.

  • To submit art for consideration, please follow the guidelines below:

–        Artists aged 62 and older are invited to submit two-dimensional work in any media for consideration.

–        Entry fees are $10 per art piece.  Checks can be made out to EngAGE.

–        All submitted work must be ready for hanging, weigh less than 20lbs, and artists are required to carry their own insurance.

–        Artists must also arrange for the delivery and pickup of their own pieces.

–        The deadline for submissions is January 4, 2013.

  • Works which are selected for the show must be dropped off at the NoHo Senior Arts Colony on January 11, 2013.
  • Slides or photograph submissions can be mailed to:

MKT Suite 100, 240 East Verdugo Ave., Burbank 91502.  Please note that slides/photos are non-returnable, unless a self-addressed stamped envelope is included.
