AMY FRIEDMAN: Amy is a writer and teacher. Her books include Kick the Dog and Shoot the Cat, and Nothing Sacred: A Conversation with Feminism. She teaches memoir writing at UCLA, Skirball Cultural Arts Center, Idyllwild School of the Arts and PEN USA.
