Saturday, 5/4: Host Tim Carpenter talks with Sandra Tsing Loh and French Stewart, and with Sam Dawson
French Stewart is the actor best known for his role on TV’s “Third Rock From The Sun.” He will be starring as Buster Keaton in the upcoming “Stoneface” at Pasadena Playhouse. Sandra Tsing Loh is the host of NPR’s popular radio shows “The Loh Life” and “The Loh Down on Science,” and is a graduate of CalTech, which has co-produced “Tesla: A Radio Play for the Stage,” written by Dan Duling, directed by Michael Arabian (The Mark Taper Forum’s award-winning “Waiting for Godot”), with live sound effects by SFX artist Tony Palermo. A special one-night-only staged reading on 5/4 at 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Playhouse will feature French Steward and Sandra Tsing Loh. Sam Dawson – Sam is a founding partner of Impact Giving, a woman’s collective philanthropic organization, and the creator of Sam’s Salon, a bi-monthly gathering of women. She’s been an award winning publicist and foundation program officer. Tim Carpenter talks to Sam Dawson about her new book, Broad Appeal: Wit and Wisdom from Women Ages 60 to 90.
