Every month EngAGE and WSH Management collaborate to bring residents a happy birthday celebration. Residents enjoy a delicious slice of cake, food, light refreshments, and raffles provided by EngAGE.

The yoga class meets twice a week to stretch and relax.

News from The Jasmine: Birthdays + Bowling

In the clubhouse at The Jasmine at Founders Village in Fountain Valley, CA, residents enjoy a great time with one another celebrating the monthly birthdays.

They also discovered that Wii bowling can bring out their sports abilities as they teach one another how to bowl on TV.  Just look at that concentration!

News from Pac Arts: Artist Luis Sanchez

Artists never knows what project will provide an opportunity to showcase their work. At Pac Arts in San Pedro, CA, resident artist Luis Sanchez will have not a showcase, but rather a “shoe-case.” Here, Luis works in the Pac Arts Maker Space studio on several pair of shoes that will be worn by a leading actor in the upcoming movie sequel of Creed. Luis and his assistant created a progressively worn look for the shoes representing different timelines in the film.

EngAGE catalyzes the development of Arts Colonies that offer unique creative amenities such as art studios, galleries, and theaters.

News from Cotton’s Point: Thanksgiving

At Cotton’s Point Senior Apartments in San Clemente, CA, enthusiastic residents, Visits of Love Club and Piano with Purpose Club from San Clemente High School, along with Western Senior Housing, celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with a potluck and beautiful music. EngAGE Program Director, Jennifer, made a huge turkey and the residents, keeping with family traditions, brought their favorite side dishes. WSH Management provided beverages and appetizers. All enjoyed lots of laughter, stories, and food while sharing the many things they are thankful for.

Tricks, treats, brides, witches, and black unicorns! It was a devilish of a good time at the San Antonio Gardens Halloween Party in Norwalk, CA. The residents enjoyed a pumpkin carving competition, music, delicious treats, and most of all, each other’s company!
