Join us for a retro night out at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at Studio 77 in NoHo, to hear, “On Being a Kid: A Poetry Reading By Los Angeles Senior Artists.” Talented EngAGE poets keep things old school by sharing memories of the days when computers and cellphones had yet to exist. In this performance, there will be five poets from BSAC and two poets from NoHo SAC, with two additional readers (Jamie from Poets & Writers and EngAGE C.O.O. Dr. Maureen Kellen-Taylor) sharing the poems of two more NoHo SAC poets that are not able to be there. Our MC will be Food4Thot, the spoken word poet who runs the Burbank poetry group. The event is part of the annual Lit Crawl LA event. Don’t miss the fun! ~ presented by Poets & Writers with EngAGE.
