BSAC and NoHo Poets in Videos from LitCrawl LA 2015

WRITINGMaureen Kellen-Taylor, EngAGE C.O.O., has this to report:

I worked closely with Poets & Writers Foundation Western Region Director Jamie Fitzgerald on a collaboration for the third annual LitCrawl LA 2015. The reading, entitled “On Being A Kid: A Poetry Reading by Los Angeles Senior Artists,” featured poets from our EngAGE in Poetry programs: Jean Ritchie and Carol Egan from NoHo, and Jo Lynda Blake, Kit Harper, Abigail Howard, and Felicia Saisson-Siegal fromBSAC. [Details here.]

Poets Morgan Gibson and Mike Sonksen, who taught at NoHo, were present to applaud their students. Food4Thot, aka Oshea Luja, who teaches at BSAC, emceed the event. The reading was held in a bare bones, echoing retail space on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood – a classic poetry reading environment! About 50 enthusiastic people attended and enjoyed.

Poets & Writers recently posted two videos from LitCrawl LA 2015.
