News from Metro Chinatown and Park Plaza: Summer Celebrations

Before the end of the season, residents at The Metro at Chinatown Senior Lofts in Los Angeles, CA, enjoyed their annual summer cookout/ birthday celebration. EngAGE and WSH Management collaborated to provide residents with a delicious meal, light refreshments, and cake. Raffles were provided by EngAGE, and the weather was perfect for rooftop dancing to music played by DJ Bang Bang.

Tanya Kutukdjian, Programs Assistant at Park Plaza Senior Apartments in North Hollywood, CA, reports: We had a great time during the 4th of July event with entertainer, Vrezh. The residents came to the party dressed up in their patriotic outfits. We started with the national anthem, then listened to Vrezh play more patriotic music with some residents joining in on the singing. After that, we had some international music and the residents danced the night away. As always, we had the regulars who entertained us with their dance moves and our singers who shared their favorite songs. Many of the residents were able to share this night with their grandchildren, which is always a nice treat.
