Residents of the Magnolia at 9th Senior Apartments in San Bernardino, CA, enjoyed a rainy afternoon creating colorful centerpieces for their Thanksgiving feast tables. Every year, the residents gather in the community room, share their favorite side dishes while the Management and EngAGE provide the main entrée: delicious turkey and wonderful fixings. Magnolia at 9th residents feel like a family at their community. Even though they each have their own apartment, which includes a kitchen, they love to spend time together during the holiday season.
Research demonstrates that participating in arts activities improves the health and quality of life of older people.
