Many older people aren’t interested in receiving “stuff” as gifts. Maybe they’re downsizing, or they’re aware that they have everything they want, or maybe they’re struggling in this difficult economy and would prefer to receive something useful. Elder blogger Ronni Bennett has come up with some suggestions, ranging from consumables, to gifts of your time, to practical items like flashlights, batteries, and stamps. Read more here and please leave a comment if you have a suggestion.
I am an artist and would be interested in living in senior apartment in Philadelphia, PA which is enhanced with EngAGE. How might I be instrumental in helping such a art-resedence initiated? Susan
Hi, Susan —
EngAGE currently serves senior apartments only in Southern California, although there are plans for expansion in the future. If you’d like to stay informed about what we’re doing, please subscribe to this blog. Thanks very much for your interest in EngAGE!
