News from Cotton’s Point: Second Harvest Volunteer Luncheon

Twice a month, these wonderful Second Harvest volunteers work for three hours to make sure Cotton’s Point Senior Apartments in San Clemente, CA, has smooth food distribution. They set up the community room, offload produce and food products on tables, and help distribute the Second Harvest food to the residents. After the distribution, they clean up the community room so it is ready for future programming that EngAGE offers our residents. To say thank you, EngAGE Program Director Jennifer Fallon prepared a homemade chicken fajitas meal and EngAGE Food Coordinator Laura Sardisco made pumpkin dessert for our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.

EngAGE changes lives by transforming affordable senior and multigenerational apartment communities into vibrant centers of learning, wellness, and creativity.
